I fell in love with Charleston when we moved here in 1992. I graduated from Wando HS and chose to stay and attend the College of Charleston. During that time, I found a career in the food and beverage and hospitality industry. Over the years, I worked with and learned from some of the best in the business. I dedicated almost 20 years to the industry. I met my husband when we worked together at McCrady’s. In 2013 we started our family and I made the decision to change career paths. I was drawn to the real estate profession because I was able to still work with so many different people while keeping more family friendly hours. In 2017 I joined Smith Spencer and never looked back!

I also volunteer with Lowcountry Food Bank which aims to distribute millions of pounds of donated food throughout South Carolina each year.”

    • What I did before Real Estate:

      At the age of 17, right before my freshman year in college I found a job serving cocktails at The Rooftop Bar at Vendue. I caught the hospitality bug and worked my way through some of the best establishments in Charleston. I did it all, hostess, server, bartender and even management. My time in this industry taught me how to work as a team member, problem solving solutions, and creating happy and memorable experiences for people.

    • My Real Estate Specialty:

      My real estate specialty has become making the process as easy as possible for my clients. I have been very fortunate to work with past colleagues from the hospitality industry. To so many of them, owning real estate seemed like a distant dream. It is so rewarding when I can shed light on the buying and selling process and help make the best decisions for my clients and their families.

      I would like to think my clients would say they’ve worked with me because of my professionalism, my market knowledge and my negotiating prowess! However, I think it really boils down to the fact that I am a team player and I always have my clients best interest at heart.     • What I love about Charleston:

      There are so many reasons why I love Charleston! Number one is the people. The people in Charleston really are some of the warmest and friendliest. I adore the fact that in less than half an hour I can be on a beach with my toes in the water. Beach and boating season is not limited to summer only, it’s practically year round. I also think Charleston is a wonderful place to raise a family. No matter what area you choose to live in there is no shortage of activities. From farmers markets to music festivals, beautiful plantations and parks, there is something going on for everyone.
